Theresa makes a tit of herself

Theresa May’s post-Salzburg statement: what she said – and what she really meant

Theresa May made a real tit of herself at the EU summit this week in Salzburg. She stuck to her unrealistic Chequers proposals, then lied and feigned ignorance about why the EU rejected it, though EU leaders have made it clear since it came out why it wouldn’t work.

Then Donald Tusk further humiliated her by trapping her into being photographed accepting a slice of cake, and saying, here’s some cake, no cherries. This being a reference to the EU view that May wants not only to have her cake and eat it, but also to cherrypick which bits of the EU to accept or reject. And the stupid woman claims she doesn’t understand.

I guess we get the leaders we deserve, but the Tories are in tatters, and the writing is on the wall. Pity May can’t read.

Not that Corbyn is any better. Two polls said Labour support would surge if he backed a second referendum, but the stupid man is still opposed, because he thinks Europe is too capitalist. We are ruled by numbskulls.
