Another thought on vegans

As if it weren’t odd enough they were insisting on stores having separate utensils for serving vegan and non-vegan food, which is fine if the stores are willing to go along with it, what about the cooks? Do they have to change hands so that one hand never touches meat?

And how about vegans with pets? What do they feed their carnivorous cats and dogs, if they own them? And what about pet ownership? Is that acceptable under veganism?

I get where vegans are coming from. They want to stop cruelty to animals and vicious farming methods. I can live with that, and accept higher prices for various animal products like butter and eggs. But realistically, if they want the world to adopt their way, they are going to have to make some sacrifices, including their pets. There is simply no room in a vegan world for carnivorous pets.
